The Georgian Swansea

Lovely stay, stayed for 5 nights. Close enough to town but far enough away to not be too noisy. Lovely and great staff - made up the room daily.

Another amazing visit to Morgans and the Georgian in particular. The staff are always welcoming and as we were celebrating my partners birthday I requested prosecco to the room on arrival which was promptly brought. The rooms are of high quality and the cleaning standards are some of the best I have seen, having stayed at 2-3 hotels a week through work, this is not always the case. The locations is great and we love the vibe in the lounge/bar area. Breakfast was self service continental with a variety of choices and a cooked breakfast made to order. All in all a great experience and one we will be returning to.

Wow, what an amazing hidden treasure. We stayed in the royal Oak room in was stunning it was for my fiancè birthday. We had rose petals on the bed and in the bathroom a lovely card and the best chocolate brownie with fruit in the room provided free by the hotel. We dis order prosecco for the room that wasn't in there on arrival, but a quick phone call to reception and it was there in seconds. The room was amazing and I emailed the hotel on a few occasions and all my requests were answered quickly and everything I requested we had. What a brilliant weekend and a fabulous stay.

Such a comfortable stay, and the shower was the best. Really great amenities, with thoughtful and luxurious decor. Would definitely recommend staying here for anybody going to Swansea. We stayed one night and it was a really convenient spot.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Cannot even name one negative thing: the facilities are super, the design is breathtaking, the staff is very kind and helpful. The bar and the breakfast room are beautiful, this hotel is simply perfect.

We love The Georgian Swansea! A completely charming option in very perfect location in central Swansea, walking distance to so many great restaurants and the sea. It's right next to its sister property Morgans (so the fantastic bar and restaurant there is close by!). The Georgian used to be the old customs house and the interiors have a historic flair we love, antiques and oil paintings everywhere. Impeccably clean and really fabulous bathrooms with beautiful tile and huge shower heads. Super comfortable four poster beds. Lovely staff. Five stars!

Excellent room and location, bed was really comfortable, room was wonderful period decor and nice and quiet.room was lovely and clean and we were treated to an extra upgrade and birthday cake as we were away for a birthday treat to relax and enjoy swansea

It was worth the journey just for the building (and the shower gel!). The complimentary extras are very welcome (coffee machine, biscuits, bottled water, toiletries etc) and of high quality. The building is a gem and has been so that guests benefit from its Georgian beauty and still have a comfortable stay with mod cons. Can’t fault anything.

Pros: Good location for town and bay - lovely restaurants within an east walking distance Rooms - nicely decorated, good standard Toiletries and drinks - Molton Brown minis in bathroom - nice touch. Coffee machine good. Complimentary water. Staff - helpful on arrival Facilities - Iron, board and hairdryer in room, excellent shower Breakfast - wonderful selection of cold buffet and hot food Drinks - two free drinks in bar - lovely touch Cons: No hotel parking as this was apparently reserved for Morgan customers - asked to park in the pay and display a short walk from hotel Noisy - can hear other guests walking (shaking floorboards) and talking constantly. Noise from outside on the street too (woken at 3:30am by just 3 people chatting outside on the pavement) Breakfast - although good selection, we waited over 15 minutes for our order to be taken, table was dirty and hot food wasn't the best. Then coffee machines not working. Due to breakfast delays, we arrived back at our room 5 minutes before checkout to find we had already been locked out! Mixed feelings about this hotel. Much better than Marriott - but probably won't use again for reasons above!
