SpringHill Suites Enid

The room we stayed in needs updating…water stain in wall, unfinished trim work in the room. It would be appreciated to have higher quality tissue and bath tissue for guests. The parking lot is terrible for negotiating vehicles…the event center has parties in 2 of the nights we stayed and left crowded and tight parking spaces for hotel guests. Breakfast was advertised to be available until 9:30 and on one of the mornings we went down breakfast had been pulled just before 9. The desk staff and housekeeping personnel were friendly…it just seemed they were short handed and/or unprepared for the amount of guests they were taking care of.

We purchased 2 nights in the double queen “suite.” The pictures were confusing, but we have stayed with this company before and had hopes that it would be an actual suite. It was not. It was an oddly shaped room than was just a touch longer than standard. The bathroom doors are sliding and heavy and sooooo loud. The breakfast was also terrible. We made plans based on the confirmed and posted start time to breakfast. This was 40 minutes late to be set out. And it was also terrible. I’ve been at $50/night motels with more respect for their guests. They just had eggs, oatmeal, orange juice and apple juice. No milk, yogurt, ice, pastries, drinks. I was pretty surprised at how bad it was. 2 nights for $360 in a fake suite feels like a scam. I would pay no more than $82 to stay there again. Terribly disappointing for our holiday travels.

We were in Enid for a gathering. Nice hotel. Amanda in the bar was very kind. Always make a good host. The location is quiet and right off the highway. Lots of restaurants nearby and Enid is a friendly town.

I rarely write reviews, but I feel like I need to on this one. First, I'll start with the positives: The inside lobby and breakfast area were clean and modern. The staff were friendly, although we didn't deal with them very much over our the four nights we were there. They did always welcome us upon entering the hotel. The lounge was a great option if you want to relax and have a drink. We stopped by one of the four nights we were there. The breakfast was fine as well. Now, for the negatives. We stay at Marriott hotels 99% of the time. This property by far has the most issues of any we've stayed at. It definitely doesn't live up to Marriott standards. My husband is not very picky about hotels, but he definitely commented about the condition of this one. The hotel grounds outside were FILTHY! There are cigarette butts everywhere. I took a walk around the building and property one morning and they are all over the sidewalks, parking lot, flower beds, grass, etc. There was also garbage in the parking lot, in the flower beds, and sidewalks. I actually ended up picking up garbage as it had been there at least a few days. ****s and overgrowth filled all the flowerbeds. There was also a dirty sock sitting in a flower bed/edge of sidewalk that remained there the entire time we were there. The sidewalks are covered in bird poop. It appears that the outside is an after thought and very to little maintenance has been done. We wanted to sit on the outside front patio one night, but again, trash, cigarette butts, and bird poop were everywhere. The couch cushions were also very dirty. The entire outside could definitely stand to be power washed. Our room was mostly clean. However, there were several wall corners covered in dirt, which I wiped off with Clorox wipes. Also, there was a large piece of paint peeling from the ceiling in our shower. The soap and shampoo bottles that are normally attached to the shower wall had fallen off and were placed in the soap dish that was also barely attached to the wall. One of the towel holders was also barely attached to the wall, so we didn't dare use it. In addition, the window shade had an almost perfectly cut 5-6 inch square cut out of it. It was obvious someone had cut it. I really hope they can improve this property as we do prefer to stay at Marriott locations and we will be returning in the near future with a group of family members for a graduation.

Everything was pretty tidy and nice. Only weird things I noticed that our room’s shower door didn’t close all the way. The shower faucet was moveable and the toilet didn’t flush.

My mother stayed at this location last night. When she woke up this am, she was covered in bites and welts. Went down to the front desk where she was treated extremely poorly by a woman named Janelle and by the GM who basically told her she was lying and laughed at her. This hotel USED to be a nice place. Not anymore! With the old GM, she would have at least offered a resolution, the 2 employees (housekeeping supervisor and the GM) didn’t do nothing for my mom except make her feel incredibly uncomfortable and upset. I’m pissed!

A little out of the way, but a nice, new hotel. Very clean. Staff was super friendly. Good breakfast. Bed was comfortable. Room is spacious. Will stay again when back in Enid.

Not a lot the hotel can do about it but they have a large number of oil field workers that come into the hotel with with lots of red dirt mud on their boots. other than that, the hotel was in good repair, comfortable and our room was clean, nicely furnished and had everything we needed.

I am a member of the Marriott Envoy and always book online and never had any issues until I booked at this specific hotel at Enid Ok. We are here in a nice little town of 50k people and there are scheduled soccer games of probably 2,000 to 3,000 people over a 2 day period. So I booked my room online at 5:00ish and checked in on line… then I arrived at the hotel by 8:30 with my family ready to rest and they tell me that my room has been sold. Poor management…. I had my reservation confirmed and charged to my acct. I believe they’ll sell to walkins on higher fees. I’ll stay away from this hotel and any associated chains.
