Umaid Bhawan Palace Jodhpur

From the moment we arrived to leaving we were totally treated like royalty throughout our 3 night stay. Everything was just perfect and nothing too much trouble for the staff- our personal concierge Aniket was a superstar and even arranged a special behind the scenes experience for my husband to take photos. Our room was beautiful- every detail thought through and special touches from the lovely Asif. Complimentary afternoon tea is a nice touch and morning yoga, plus a choice of 2 pools and a lovely spa. We ate a very special dinner at Pillars which was beautiful, and thanks to ***isha for her recommendations on Indian dishes. Once here you won’t want to go out, but do as Jodhpur is a magical place.

The palace is really worth the visit. The stay was excellent. The whole team was very warm and kind. We did loads of activities. Sweta was always a phone call away to help us go around and do things during our stay. Highly recommend enjoying the High Tea at the property. Spa and Indoor swimming was fun. Horse riding we also enjoyed. And the grand welcome when we arrived at the airprot was something to cherish always. Thanks to the entire team.

This was the most amazing experience of our trip. We were pampered and were given the best hospitality. Our welcoming procession made us feel special. The hotel had ***y complimentary activities for us to choose from including mocktail making and palace tours. The food was delicious and they were very catering to our needs. You can choose from an Indian meal or a multi continental meal. Their drinks were incredible. Our favorite drinks are Jodhpur Lancers (whiskey based) and The Maharani Special (vodka based). Not only was the food good, but also the palace was filled with beauty and history. Its majestic architecture leaves you in awe at each time of the day. So make sure you have your camera ready, especially to capture photos of the peacocks. We were able to feed the peacocks at breakfast too! The entertainment was phenomenal. The Rajasthani musicians played Bollywood songs we requested during our welcome. The musicians during dinner played the best music that made us sing and dance *****. They are all so talented and we wish we could listen to them all day. The best part about Umaid Bhawan that makes it stand out from any other hotel was the staff. Some of the staff members that made our stay amazing: Aniket, Jabbar, ***isha, Yakup, Shobhit, Narendar, Sweta, Harsh, Kartik, Deepika and Hardik.

It is very difficult to imagine a better hotel or a more flawless travel experience anywhere in the world. A true Maharaja's Palace. Peacocks and parrots everywhere. And that really is the least of it. The Palace is stunningly beautiful and the wonderful staff make the experience even better. I must mention first the ever attentive and helpful Sikander Singh Bhati. His constant generous support and anticipation of every need made the entire stay wonderful. Meals were personally designed specifically for our taste by the amazing Shobhit Mathur and Saddique was always joyfully there to serve the magic. Thank you all for everything you've done to make this time so memorable.

Every time we think of Rajasthan, we think of this spectacular hotel. This is why we chose to stay here, once again, for a total of 5 nights this month. We absolutely love the pristine palace grounds and staff of this hotel. The staff, is dedicated 100% to making the guests feel at home. Sikander, the guest relations executive, took care of us like family. My last minute request for a birthday celebration for my husband was overseen by Sikander and it truly became an unforgettable day for us. The waiters (Shashank, Saddique and Karan) and restaurant staff made sure we tried every Rajasthani food on their menu. Shobhit, the Sous Chef, made sure we were happy with our breakfast every day, and even prepared different types of Chaats, which were not on their menu, to make sure our India food experience was unforgettable. One more very important highlight of this hotel is the Rajasthani folk musicians who perform in the dome area of the hotel in the afternoons. What a treat one gets when they perform!. It's an absolute treat of the senses to listen and be surrounded by such beauty. I highly recommend experiencing this perfor***ce. It will transport you and keep you wanting more of this Incredible India!

The palace venue provided a beautiful setting for a wedding, complemented by the excellent service from Swaroop Singh and his team. The food was delightful, adding to the charm of the event. Highly recommended for a memorable wedding experience.

What an entrance to the Palace! The Guards, drums, red carpets, royal drapes and traditional performers is something we will never forget! My Sister, Mother, Grandmother and I were treated like royalty for our entire stay and absolutely every detail of our stay was perfection. Special thank you to each and every one of the staff who made our stay so perfect. If you are after luxury fit for a Queen or King with a rich history and soul then this is your place! The people here are the most genuine, helpful and kind people- they are so giving of their time and knowledge and willing to share their culture with you.

Had a wonderful stay at The Ummaid Bhavan. We celebrated our Parents’ anniversary and had an amazing hospitality right from the time we entered till we left the Hotel. Everyone has been so helpful and polite mainly Sikandarji, Avii, Dhirendra, Chetan that it has made an unforgettable happy memory for all of us. We wish the staff and hotel all the very best and would love to visit again…
