Casa Lajagua

We were very pleased with our stay. The hotel is kept very clean. The pool was a great temperature. The owner April takes good care of her guests. Pedasi in general has some issues with water availability but April informed us of a few water conservation tips that would help ensure that nobody encountered water issues. The breakfasts were very well prepared and tasty. The one thing to watch out for is the entrance is clearly marked off the main highway, but Google will direct you to the back gate, which does not provide access to the hotel. The entrance is just across from the gas station, where the police station is. Parking is covered.

Our week-long stay at Casa Lajagua was delightful. The grounds surrounding the small, intimate hotel are beautiful, giving the feeling of seclusion even though you are on the edge of Pedasi. They provide a free homemade breakfast daily with fresh fruit, eggs to order, different meat, bread and a wonderful smoothie. But on top of all that, the host, April, goes above and beyond. When we arrived both my husband and I had a chronic cough (no we were not contagious). April went to the store and brought us a variety of cold/cough medications. Wow, that was way beyond expectations! So needless to say, we highly recommend staying at Casa Lajagua during your travels in Pedasi.

A little piece of paradise in Pedasi. April is the owner-manager, was very welcoming. Our stay was enjoyable and memorable. Our room was very comfortable. There is beautiful greenery and flowers in her gorgeous maintained grounds. There is a small pool if you need to cool down. Every room has a beautiful hammock outside great for relaxing Breakfast was included and was delicious. April made a few suggestions for dinner and she was bang on. April arranged for a day trip to Isla Iguana which is a must see. She gave us beach umbrellas, chairs and packed us a cooler with sandwiches and snacks that we took with us April is an amazing host and would highly recommend staying at her Casa.

We enjoyed this quaint and clean place. The owner is friendly and helpful. April organized our trip to Isla Iguana and told us about a charming little restaurant for supper. The morning breakfast is included and was delicious. The mini fridge in the room was a great and useful surprise. We hope to go back, and would stay longer.

What a fabulous trip to Pedasi for Carnival. Our stay at Casa Lajagua was more than perfect. Wonderful breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms. Easy walk to town and anything you might need. The highlight was meeting April, Beto and her parents Rob and Darlene. They can’t do enough to ensure your visit is enjoyable. Thank you so much for making our trip so memorable.

I had a wonderful stay very relaxing family-run business with the best breakfast in town! Great friendly staff and location, cute little town. Lots of great beaches, surfing, and fishing activities in the Pedasi area to keep yourself busy with if you wish to do so.

We stayed at April's bed and breakfast for 3 nights in February. The rooms were spotless and had ample space. The pool was a nice respite from the hot weather! We met people poolside from all over the world! April makes sure that you have everything that you need, and will answer any questions that you may have. She even made our dinner reservations for us! She also arranged an excursion to Isla Iguana for us, which we thoroughly enjoyed! I am a former travel agent, and I was blown away how customer service oriented April and her staff are! Her breakfasts were a great way to start the day. Stay there in Pedasi!

We spent there few nights surrounded by beautiful garden. Cozy and clean rooms, central location, excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Many good restaurants around. April is easy going and always willing to help. I highly recommend this place.
