Housekeeping was horrible. There was absolutely no kind of friendliness, housekeeping would gossip out loud and talk about people staying at the hotel badly like making fun of people. The rooms were extremely dirty with the smell of strong mildew/mold. The pool is green and very dirty and unfortunately our main reason for choosing this hotel. The hotel does not keep up the pool grounds. There's bins for dry towels and that remained empty our entire stay. The pool was very heartbreaking since it was my husband's birthday. This is not a pet friendly hotel, there is no room to walk your dog. All the smoking locations are right where we're supposed to walk our dogs. Housekeeping gathers in these areas smoking ****/cigarettes and makes this very hard for a dog to use the bathroom with them hanging out all the time. The elevator I wasn't allowed to use because a housekeeper wouldn't let me on. My dog had a hurt paw and that housekeeper wouldn't let us on, she explained she was scared of dogs, I had to take the stairs. Okay, I'm paying to stay there and she's being paid to work there; she should of let us have the elevator. This was the whole vibe while being there and I feel like I wasted money when my husband and I just wanted to get away and we're local too. Never again will I ever go back to this horrible place. Never have I been treated so badly staying at a hotel. I am disabled with multiple sclerosis, this is not a disability friendly hotel putting us on the second floor. Our keys were deactivated each morning and that was a very long and painful walk to the front desk to have them reactivated. Impossible to sleep in with housekeeping gossiping so hard out in the hallways. I feel like we've been ripped off. And the hotel threatening us with a $250 fine if caught vaping inside and hearing a housekeeper talking about catching people for a bonus just didn't feel right hearing that; we had no intention of vaping inside; it was still stressful. Pictures I've included are the window unable to be opened with mold build up. Pool is green and that's not the paint.

I am so upset, my partner and I needed a hotel tonight so we booked last minute on trip.com. We got a room and it was a complete disaster, it hadn’t been cleaned at all, there were towels on the counter and the bed was dirty and used. The tables were covered in spills. This is unacceptable. The front desk lady gave us a different room across the hall and it was the EXACT same, except even worse. There were used tissues on the counter.

I booked this with confidence. However, when I needed to change it to a day earlier... I lost my money. They said the hotel had nothing available..however, I went there and they had my very room. I feel cheated by hotel and trip.com. never again

I booked this one not because of price, but name recognition. Boy was I in for a surprise: It is a simple, dated, tired budget motel, not worthy being associated with the name Wyndham, unless they all are like this one. But in fairness, I assume most hotels in this category fit those adjectives. Cons: General: Room not ready at 6PM, hallways filthy, one elevator down, and the one left looked and smelled like an old locker room. Unsure if they heat the pool at all, but it was not swimmable when I was there, but I am also a bit spoiled. Room: Somewhat clean bedding (did not dare to look closely), no sound proofing, you hear everything from next door unfiltered, no smoke detector (just wires). Pros: Mattress and bed were quite OK, well, there was warm water and cable TV, basic furniture upgrades to meet presumably minimum franchise standards. The breakfast is just OK, juice machine, coffee, toast, bagels, some meats and omelets, bacon if you are early enough. If you are on budget, it will save money not having to go out for that, and the kids will eat it. Staff tries to cope, but can only work with what they have, which seemingly is next to nothing. They try to put on a smile, but seem frustrated themselves. If you are on a budget, you do not have that many choices, and I don't know how nice the other budget places are, but you will not find me here again. I will read more carefully next time and book one of the newer hotels.

Hotel was in poor shape. Hallways were nasty and dirty. Room refrigerator didn’t work and neither did the replacement. No microwave or coffee pot in the room. Hallways were noisy and doors were loud when closed. One elevator was out of order. Breakfast was disappointing and juice was sour. Will never stay at this hotel again.

So far - I’m not impressed or pleased at all. I arrived at 8pm after a 3 hour drive and our room was not ready. We are not checked in yet. So we left to go eat. Hopefully it will be ready when we get back.

Free Good waffle house type Breakfast. Down fall no No place for Cloths due to no drawers in our room

Next to main road which was noisy. Hallways and common areas in poor condition. In room AC/heater made irritating noises.

When looking to book hotels during our travels, I look for Wyndham as a brand that I would consider when making a reservation. Well Wyndham Garden Tallahassee Capitol just ruined the Wyndham name for me. Hallways were dark and dirty. Sections of carpet missing ( probably due to previous water damage) The room was ok. At least it was clean. Only a half roll of toilet paper and no refill in the room. Breakfast was poor. Eggs ok, potatoes undercooked and sausage patties warm but not browned.
