I have stayed in many hotels in the US and this was the only hotel which refused to let me check-in because I used my English name instead of the name in my passport to book the hotel. Normally, it would not be a problem at the other hotels when I present the original credit card used for the booking. But in this case, the hotel reception insisted that I had to contact Trip.com to amend the name in my booking which took more than 3 hours to happen while I was waiting in the lobby during this time. Really disappointed by the way the hotel management handled my check in.
